Shield Clocks

Our original Black Forest shield clock is hand painted and is lovingly made by artistic craftsmanship. The Shield clocks are real special feature items with traditional mechanical movement and are built by only a couple of clockmakers in the Black Forest.

All Shield Clocks are made of massive wood and are painted by hand.

Some of the German Clocks are available in three different sizes: M = 21 cm / 8 inch , L = 25 cm / 10 inch and XL = 35 cm / 13,8 inch. It´s specifying the height of the clock case. With the filter function, you can display your desired size easily.

Hand-painted and hand-made shields clock, as they are known worldwide since the 18th century. The shield and the clock cases are made of solid wood. The antique style wall clock creates a special atmosphere in every room. This Black Forest shield clock (sometimes also called "Schottenuhr", after the inventor of "Schottenhof " in Neustadt, Black Forest) is lovingly hand-painted in fine work by Conny Haas, a famous Black Forest shield clock-painter. The subject is a historic flowers ensemble. Traditional Black Forest Craft, Made in Germany, in its purest and most beautiful form.
